Construction of our new building is nearly complete!!!
Construction of our new building is nearly complete!!!
We are using our new space and it is nearly complete. However, the heating and air conditioning are not functioning satisfactorily yet so the rooms may be extra cold or extra warm. Let Ginny know at the reception desk in the atrium if you are uncomfortable and we will see what we can do.
The punch-out list is getting shorter but you will continue to see workers painting, climbing on ladders working in the ceiling, and working on the exterior of the building.
Our newly seeded lawn is quite soft with all the rain. Please keep to the sidewalks as you will leave muddy footprints behind and kill the new grass if you walk on it. We do appreciate your cooperation!
We have lots of new technology and appreciate your cooperation in not using it or fiddling with it until you have been trained on it. If you missed the technology orientation sessions, please contact Jason Baack for instruction before using technology with which you are unfamiliar.
We have some amazing and sophisticated technology but it can be easily damaged if it is mishandled. Please do not attempt to “fix” it yourself. If you damage the equipment you will feel badly and we may have to ask you to pay for repairing it. Ask for assistance from our friendly technology staff by letting Ginny know what you need. Her desk is in the atrium.
Our official dedication of the new wing will be Monday, October 5, 2009, the ninth anniversary of the opening of the current facility. Please do plan to help us celebrate!
