Construction will begin, Monday, Oct. 15, to replace the driveway into the Hutchinson Center and the sidewalk into the main entrance doors to the atrium. Construction is expected to take 3 weeks. In the first week, the current surfaces will be removed so expect large equipment to be present and for traffic to be routed around the sites. The main entrance will not be accessible so please use the atrium entrance facing the driveway or the doors at the end of the Walsh wing near the conference center.
In week 2, the new sidewalk will be constructed at the main entrance to the building. Please follow directions to use alternative entrances on the front of the building facing the driveway and at the Walsh wing hallway by the conference center. Parking will be restricted in spaces close to the construction for the safety of everyone. Please do not cross spaces marked by the yellow caution tape and traffic cones. The driveway will be gravel so please drive and walk safely.
In week 3, the driveway will be resurfaced, so traffic and parking will be directed to safe locations.
Please respect the workers who will be directing traffic and working on the site by following their directions and staying out of areas marked with yellow caution tape and traffic cones. This will keep everyone safe.
We thank you for your patience and look forward to an improved and safer access to our building when these projects are complete.
