The
Hutchinson Center's building is a handsome one-story structure,
on several acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with
ample parking. Our facilities are available to the community
for a fee for educational programs and meetings. We are
a state-of-the art Center with just about all the technology
one would need. This past year our technology has been
upgraded even more, making our entire facility “wireless”
with two airports for laptop wireless connections throughout
our building!
About our rooms……………………………..
Two
Executive Seminar Rooms –
Equipped with a fully outfitted podium work station that
offers Office 2000, internet access, video conferencing,
a document camera, VCR, DVD/LD, and cassette player. Fixed
seating and table for 24 participants, with space for
an additional 10 temporary seats. Food and beverage can
be easily set up in these rooms.
Versatile
Classrooms –
Rooms 105 and 106 are the most versatile rooms, both are
851 square feet. Each is equipped with conference tables
and comfortable chairs, that can be arranged to your specification.
Seating capacity depends on set-up. (Maximums - Theater
style 50; U-shaped 30; Classroom style 30; Conference
style 30; Herringbone style 35. Food and beverage can
be easily set up in these rooms.
PC
and MAC Computer Labs –
Each room has a podium work station and 24 fixed-desk
work stations. Two participants may share a work station
if necessary. Each podium has the ability to control and
display to all 24 computers. No food or beverage is allowed
in the computer labs.
The
Auditorium –
With fixed seating for 105, and space for an additional
20 chairs, this area accommodates the largest groups.
The technology available from the podium is the same as
in the Executive Seminar Rooms. The Auditorium has a drop-down
screen, a stage area complete with two types of microphones
and specially designed lighting features.
The
Atrium –
Visitors are welcomed in the atrium, a spacious open area
with floor to ceiling windows, indirect lighting, white
tile floor and white walls. This area is also available
for rent and provides a perfect setting for exhibitions
and displays and can easily accommodate up to 130 people
for a reception and up to 100 people for a sit-down meeting
or meal.
Small
conference and meeting rooms –
There is a small conference room as well as several small
meeting rooms available at limited times. Seating in these
rooms is limited to 10 or 12 people. Food and beverage
are allowed in these rooms.
